Default odd miss.

1998 N/A 3.8 Bonnie, 87,000 miles.
Recent transmission, New NGK plugs and new wires.
Ok car had miss before plugs and wires. Just between 1500 to 2200 RPM under load like going up hill. I am going to do the Fuel filter tonight.
Any ideas?

Sounds like a possible weak coil or injector issue... Do you by chance have any other type 2 coils around?
