Oh no! Not this again! Almost every year used a different O2! It'* year-dependent. Check Techinfo at the top of the page, it will give you the proper numbers.

Honestly, how much do you guys think an o2 sensor will effect gas mileage? ..at this point i'm experience sub-par gasmileage IMO ..and i replaced the spark plugs and i haven't had a noticeable change yet really in gas mileage.. i'm workin on the plugs ...and now i'm debating on replacing the o2 sensor just to be safe... that'* about it, right?

Well, in the Saturn I was getting about 38 mpg, and now that the sensor has gone bad, I only get about 29-30 mpg now...I'd say it does...

If you have a sudden drop (over a month or less) in mileage, and your O2 sensor is over 50k miles old, the odds are that it'* the sensor.

Also keep in mind that N/A o2 sensors are heated (3-4 wires) while L67'* use 1 wire.

The o2 figures out how rich or lean the engine is running by sensing how hot the temperature is, if it'* burning richer or leaner it goes a certain ay. It changes it'* electrical resistance based on the temp it'* running at, if it goes bad it doesn't send out the proper voltage/signal out. The car thinks it'* constantly running a certain way and your milage/performance suffers. If your car is over 50,000 miles it'* always a good thing to replace.
