Default Not starting?

97 SSE
My car lately will not start in the mornings until I jump it off. I let it slide once because we'd had 5 days of snow and I hadn't driven it.
However, now it is a daily occurrence. it is ONLY in the mornings; leaving school and anywhere else, or if I start it later in the day when it'* above freezing, I'm fine.

It'* a brand new battery(bought after Christmas), and the amp gauge on the dash says my alternator is running well. I know the autozone alternator tests aren't perfect, but it also says I'm fine.

What seems to be my issue? After just making contact with jumper cables hooked up to another car, it starts up immediately. I'll be tightening cables and such tomorrow and hoping maybe it'* just loose, but can you think of anything?

Check and clean the battery cables on both ends. Corrosion can cause this problem.

Didn't solve the problem.

I hear the starter, and it'* definitely an electric problem. Could it be starter relay? But then, why would jumping it off start the car?

I would also check the cables coming from your starter and the grounds on the engine block.

At times the cables can corroded inside. Try to pull back the boot and look at the wires.
