Default Non un-locking passenger door

The passenger door on my car will lock by the switch but it will not unlock useing the power switch but you can unlock it manually. I think some thing is loose or disconnected I was just wondering where all the bolts are to remove the pannel to get to the locking mechanism and if any one has any sugestions on fixing this.

Wellis just that one door control or all of them won't unlock it? It could be a the control going bad.

I have the same problem, I have been meaning to take the door panel aprart to investigate, sometimes you cannot unlock it with the key even, but only sometimes. only the passeger door is affected on mine, I was thinking that a linkage came loose or worst case scenario, I would have to change the actuator, but it'll have to get a lil bit warmer for me go out there and fiddle with it

Same problem here, it'* almost like it was jumping a tooth on the linkage. Tore into the door, couldn't find it.

The power locks are built into the latch mechanism.....there is what they call a bumper kit...little white rubber bumpers that connect the lock rod to the lock mechanism...these wear out and need to be replaced for the lock to function properly....theyre available from gm.

My passenger side front door lock doesn't work either. It makes the right sound when you hit the power locks but it doesn't lock or unlock the door. I can manually lock or unlock with either the key or the inside manual lock.

Does anyone know if the window switches and be cleaned or repaired? I've got one window I can roll down from the driver side door but not up. The switch on the door seems to work fine.

95 I'd say take the switch out and hammer it with contact cleaner that is safe for plastic. Let it stay out for a while to dry really well. If that doesn't work aim to the local j/y and pick up one. I had one but Haro'* died a few days after I picked it up. Now all I can find is 96+ and they are a little different on the cosmetics. It wouldn't look right but I do have a 96.

yup that is for the Tweeters in the door, there is a Rumor here that all 93 were prewired from the factory. But if you have little business card holders in the door you can get a set of factory tweeters and they will go will bolt up and work with no problem
