Default NO place for front license plate!!

Any suggestions on how to mount a front license plate on the front of a 93 SSE? IT has no plate holdster and in VA its a manditory to have both plates on the outside of your car (Yea its gay but what can ya do?) Any suggestions will do. I put the front in my windshield but my dad said i needed 2 find a way to put it on the front.

Haro, that set-up is sweet. I've always wanted to do something like that. Was that a DIY job?

I'd do it now but there will be holes in my bumper showing :?

Ho0dbridge4lyf8, you couuld also just find a front plate holder (the one that fits to the bumper).

I think there are kits available somewhere, that are powered, right? But I'll have to look into that eventually. It would be nice to have.

Seeing as you have an SSE, it won't look quite the same, but I just ran big screws through the lowest psart of the bumpre cover, into the flate plate holder that came on my car to get

We have the same stupid law in Utah. My wife has been driving our 93 SSE since '95 without a front plate. She was stopped 3-4 times because of this and she'd pull the plate out of the trunk and ask the officer to show her where it would go & she'd put it on. The cop would look all over the front of the car and none of them could find the spot (I wasn't even sure where it was supposed to go). This worked until a couple months ago when some hotdog right out of cop basic training wrote her a fix-it ticket. She went to the Pontiac dealer and bought the OEM plastic bracket. It wasn't all that expensive and it fits right on. I'm not real happy with the fact that it covers the "SSE" embossed on the front bumper, but otherwise it'* fairly clean. Must be pretty easy to put on, since my wife did it.

...not that my wife'* an imbecile or anything, just that it only took her about 10 minutes start to finish...

Anyway, if you're more into the factory look, there is an OEM bracket still available.
