i had the car going for atleast 20min and it wasnt even warm i had the temp up to 90 deg and still nothing this isnt going to work for winter on its way. help maybe im not doing something right.

my security light will sometimes stay on and not go off and other times its goes off. whats wrong with it. is it the pass key 2?

We need better descriptions of both your problems.

For the heat, what didn't heat up? The coolant (temp sensor), or the climate control?

For the Security light, we need accurate descriptions of when the light comes on, how long it'* on, and when it goes off, and any other symptoms associated with it.

well with the heat i mean the heat in the car its really slow and not hot at all just warm. i have the electronic climate control if that help or matters.

and the security light, its the security light for the sercurity system i looked in the owner manual and it said " if the light stay on while driving then its the pass key 2 system and it should be fixed at local dealership" well it doesnt always stay on sometimes it goes off other times it stays on. how can i fix that?

That heating problem (or lack of) could be due to a few things. Is your climate control flashing its display for the first minute or so when you start the car? If so, have your airmix door actuator checked. How long has it been since you did a coolant flush on your car? How is the thermostat? If the thermo is stuck open, the engine wont heat up all the way, and neither will you.

I just replace my airmix actuator, and its a royal pain to do.

i doesnt flash, it does get warm but not hot like it should im going to bring it in under warrenty that came with the car so im going to get a few things fixed thats ive found that i could fix but im going tolet them do it.

No heat, slow heat from heater: first thing to check: coolant level. If coolant is low, heater core is starved first. Hope it isn't the airmix door actuator for your sake, but if it is, there are a couple of posts here that you can search that will help you.

I can say something about the security light. My grandfather had this problem with the light coming on sometimes, and staying off the rest of the time. It was on his '95 bonneville. Then one day, the security light went off, and his key did not work, so he couldn't start the car. We towed the car to the stealership, and they told us that a wire in the ignition switch broke loose or something. The ignition switch assembly needed to be replaced, reprogrammed, and 2 keys needed to be cut and programmed. Total cost was about $700 I believe. I am afraid you are heading down the same path.

I know the keys are 29.99 from my steealership. so we have 60 dollars plus the cutting of them. that comes out to maybe 80 bucks at the very most.

Unless it took them 6 hours to install an igntion switch I would be wondering where the remainder of that cash went.

But then my grandma has a mid 90'* lesabre and they wanted $1400 for the replacement of the AC Compressor and varoius hoses and fittings.

It did take them a while to diagnose and fix the problem. The car was there overnight, and I think they spent most of the day working on it. Plus, I am sure that they charged out the *** for the ignition switch itself and the programming.
