Last week I had my water pump replaced; it ran fine the rest of the day. The very next day I was driving it, and all of a sudden, power went out, and car wouldn't start. Waited 20 mins. it then started up I made it home and. I left it until I had my mechanic look at it.
We ran the car for about 30 mins & it ran fine; didn't cut-off, one time & no codes were found. I took nthe car out the next morning to have the alternator & battery tested and they tested GOOD.
On the way back it went out again, this time it wouldn't start. Had a mobile mechanic come out & change the crank position sensor. Still wont start. Then we switched out the ICM with a used one I had & it started right up. I thought this was the end of the problem, but last night it cut-off again & wouldn't start again.
So we changed the ICM with a new one & guess what?
Won't start. Ended up having it towed to auto-clinic who is charging me $85/hr to diagnose. It'* been an hour so far & they still haven't a clue. Please HELP!

Ignore the security light above. That'* not possible, as the VATS system won't kill a running car.
Pull the protective boots off the battery cables and tell us what you find.
(by the way, that'* not cocaine you found in there, that'* corrosion you can't see until you pull the boots).

Checked the battery cable terminals; no, no cocaine there. I changed the connectors a couple of months ago too. It does however turnover, but it doesn't crank. Would cocaine stop it from getting fire?
Did they figure out anything during this hour?
1-Is it sparking from all three front cylinders?
2-How much fuel pressure is there at the injector rail?
3- Any trouble codes?
4-Is it getting fuel injector pulse?
If they can't answer any of these 4 questions then I'd be more than a little pissed.
Corrosion of the driver'* side ground bus can disable the fuel pump. Read this techinfo article if it doesn't have fuel pressure at the rail.

No spark? Check the crank sensor, ICM, and the wiring harness in between.
The ICM provides the spark reference signal until the engine reaches a certain RPM, then hands off control to the PCM.

Ya dude I got the same problem pretty much exactly like yours. Every mechanic I had this car taken to gave me the same response "I don't know." Im thinking what it might be is Vapor lock or bad Ignition coil.
