thanks bill. Anyway to check for sure, or what could the other 10% be? I don't want to replace the MC because I replaced that in the fall as well.

Well.. you could check for leaks, ballooning rubber lines and leaking calipers/wheel cylinders. But if you aren't loosing any fluid, then look for ballooning only. No ballooining, there'* one part that can cause the issue.

Yup, you are probably replacing the MC. Sorry man

It'* one of those things..Almost a given it'* a mc, but check the hoses, leaking etc.

If the booster went out, you'd have no assist but good pedal, like when you turn the car off and try to brake.

ok then, it can't be the booster because the pedal is usually firm and the brakes are nice and tight. I'll check the hoses for ballooning, double check for leaks, and I'll report back when I do. Hmmm, just a thought here, but when i pushed the pistons in the other day to install the new rotors and pads, they had to be pushed in all the way, could that have forced some dirt up into the mc and might it be resolved with a flush?
