The rear struts were replaced, so I and hoping for a wire.
I just did this on mine. Replaced all 4 struts from a low mileage 98. The ccr worked on my old set, I just had a rear that wouldn't hold air.

Good luck. You may chase your tail from problem to problem. CCR sucks. And yes, I have CCR on one of my cars that works. And it still sucks. It'* underperforming, toublesome, and expensive and time-consuming to fix.

It'* just the odd thing is, is that the struts in the rear were replaced a few years back. They are already bad? Where can I buy new ones? I have baseball cards that I can see to fix them if I need to.

CCR struts were used up until 99. They were aleady a major problem when this forum was founded. Think about that.

CCR struts are UNDERPERRFOMING and EXPENSIVE. Why would you pay more for poor handling, as opposed to paying less for better handling?

Remember that I have two FE2-equipped cars. One with CCR and one without. There is NO comparison. CCR flat sucks. It was a bad idea, and GM learned their lesson.

Ahh, now I see what you mean... it just plain sucks. So maybe I should just disable it altogether. I dont see any use for it anyway.

The change in modes is very subtle. My 95 with FE2 seriously underachieves in handling compared to my 93 before I did the suspension work. I'd say drive the car until the weak struts **** you off, then convert to Monroe Sensatrac struts and disable the system.

Yeah there is. Put non CCR struts in and remove the CCR. Simple as that.

The weak struts were pissing me off on the way home when I got it. I hit a huge arse sink hole and it HURT. I was mad when I hit it.
