Hello Everyone!
Well my car doesnt like me i think, its being a real pain lately with lots of problems, and i need some help.
1) Dash Gauges dont work. I've read some of the things on here but i was wondering if i could get more of a step by step on how to fix them?
2)ECC shows - - -
3)CD player does not work after putting in new speakers ( i suck at wiring so this could be my fault??)
4) A/C works when it wants. Same with heat, sometimes i have to turn my car off then on to get heat to work.
5)When i turn on my headlights the ECC lights disappear.
6) Need A new hood!! got into a lil fender bender.

My car is a 1995 Pontiac Bonneville SE with 105K runs good when it wants. Seems like its getting slower and slower everyday tho. Mods: Cone intake, 180* thermo...want more power tho!!

Let me mention that a title of all caps doesn't get a quicker response

Gauges.. any flickers, indications at all or one day totally dead? We need more info.

ECC and AC/Heating issue is probably all lumped into one problem. There'* a good chance it'* an air mix actuator. If you search on that, you'll find tons and tons of info.

CD player, yup.. probably your wiring, please post what you did in the audio section. Pictures help as well.

The hood I would suggest buying locally. Shipping is prohibitive, however the wanted section would be the right place to post for one.

gauges just went dead all of a sudden. they flickered once and a while for a day or two but then stopped completely.
im gonna have my buddy check out the cd player and wiring this week hopefully but if not ill take some pics.
i hate the ecc, is there anyway i can get rid of it and just get the **** climate controls?

Have you checked and cleaned the battery terminals and cables for corrosion? That would be the best place to start in our cars.

fixed the radio kind of but now everytime i shut my car off and open the door the ECC and cd player reset
