i have a 97 bonneville se....have had most problems related to them...trans problem...intake replaced..so on..!! i was working on it today had it running i opened the oil fill cap and it killed the motor,is like taking off a vacum line....my question, is this normal or do i have another problem? need some input......thanks

This is almost always the PCV valve. There should be two o-rings, one under the pcv and one on the cap. Check to make sure you have both. The PCV is located on the passenger end of the plastic upper intake manifold on your L36, VIN K engine. It is underneath the MAP sensor on your car.
