What does the SET & MODE buttons do above the compass?
How do you get the headlight sprayers to work?

Also I read in one of the post you had said you need a special windshield to get
the HUD to work. We had to replace the windshield before safety and replaced
it with a regular windshield as it was cheaper, however the HUD is working.
At least we see the Speedometer, signal lights and highbeams...with this plain windsheild, what is it that I am not seeing then?

First of all, you can usually find an owners manual floating around ebay, or just get one from your dealer. You'll need it with this car! I'm assuming you have an SSE or an SSEi from the description of the gadgets. If you fill out your signature with the year and model in your profile, it makes it easier to keep track of everyone!

The set and mode buttons for the compass are used to calibrate the compass. There'* a procedure here. Just click on TECHINFO at the top of any page here, and you'll find it....eventually There'* a ton of good info up there. To use the headlight sprayers, just move the little headlight spray lever the OPPOSITE direction from the windshield spray. Do it while someone is standing near the front of the car the first time. Major pressure there! Much more than the ws.

If you get the wrong windshield, you can get a 'double' image. The HUD will reflect off both surfaces of the glass. This causes it to look fuzzy, or less clear. It should be clear and sharp.
