I just bought a 95 SSEi and I'm gald I found you guys. I also belong to a couple of F-body sites. So far this site looks as friendly as the others. Having a drivability problem but before I asked I've been searching the achives to see if others have had similar problems.

Welcome to the club! And its great that you're searching our database. But be careful which forum you post in The moderators like moving stuff around. (or don't like, depending on how you look at it)

Thanks guys, you know newbie problems. I'll throw a quick post over in intro. Looks like after some research it might be plug wires. The problem is on WOT I get major hesitation, also on very light acceleraiton, say to keep speed, hesitation. I welcome any help.
The previous owner had a complete tune-up done including ac-delco wires. From what I've found I need to check resistance on the wires.
Thanks in advance,
Rob

There are several possiblilties. Like you said plug wires. However, i'd check ALL you're fuel injectors first. THEN go to the plugs, wires, and coil pack.

Not sure where in Texas you live, but Damemorder, one of our Moderators, lives in TX. He has an Actron scantool, but I'm not sure if he has the mutant cable for the 94/95 ALDL connector. It'* a possibility to keep in mind.
Plugs and wires are always the first place to go, but I'd be tempted to pull all 6 plugs first, and see what they have to say.

HI Rob. Welcome to Bonneville Club. Some other things to consider (in addition to the stuff already mentioned) for the hesitation:
Throttle position sensor sticking
Low fuel pressure
Bad fuel
Evaporative canister purge problem
Poor ignition system ground
Alternator output too low
Air leak between MAF and TB
