I finally got my car running but the radiator had started leaking so I got a used one. Well the one my car had was not the original to top it off but the one I bought was what I need to know is what size are the transmission fittings on the radiator so I can buy the right ones and get my car back to the way it is suppose to be.

PS the probem before was the control module plug was loose.

Where is it leaking at? Is it a cooling line or on a side? You may be able to save alot of $$ if you soldered the leak closed.

Mike..you need to read the post. He'* trying to understand the transmission fitting size, not how to fix a leak on the radiator he replaced.

My caliper measures 3/4"

ps. People replying may tend to get confused with your title. Please consider titling future posts with a more descriptive name. I'd call this one Transmission Fitting Size.

Yep, yer right, my bad. I misread his post.

On my '95 SLE, the transmission cooling lines are 3/8" aluminum tubing. They terminate at the radiator with 3/8" male tube fittings. These fittings require a 5/8" flare wrench. The female radiator fitting is held with an adjustable wrench that can open to 1-3/8". I'm pretty sure my radiator is original equipment.
