depends if you have the Series I or Series II engine.

Actually, it'* not Series 2 dependent. It did change in 96, where the Series 2 (SE, SSE, SLE) started in 95.

ah, guess I was wrong then. :( I just knew that my mom'* had the more expensive oxygen sensor and her'* was a 95. (the $60 oxygen sensor.) I figured since it had the more expensive sensor it had the one after the catalytic converter too.

You were close. What drove the double sensor setup were stricter emmissions requirements. The 95 costs more because not only is it heated, it also has to provide more data to the quasi-obd2 pcm.

You can loan an O2 socket from autozone with a refundable charge. Its much faster then trying to use a wrench. Its just a 1 inch socket with a slit cut down the side so that the wires can hangout as you rotate it.

The is an online o2 sensor company at www.oxygensensors.com..I have used them for my Dodge Neon..and they were like half the cost than the ones at the parts stores!

even if you dont rent that socket piece...it only takes like 30 seconds to unscrew...theres not to many threads to the thing.....mine was kinda siezed htough last time...however i dont think anyone did any work to my car before i got it.
