Default Need Help - Rough Start, Bad Voltage

I have the exact same problem, but it does this every time I start the car. Aside from that, my battery meter fluctuates from 8 to 12 depending on if I have AC and stereo on..Also, when I brake, it dips into the red..it has died twice when I stopped. Could this be the alternator, the battery, the..???

Do you have the original alternator on it?

OK, so you probably don't have a suspect aftermarket alternator. Your electrical system sounds weak, it could be either the battery, connections, or the alternator. Is your aftermarket stereo a big draw?
