Then change it again after the LIM gasket work. You'll get crud into your lifter valley.

Have you changed the oil yet?

How about now?

nope didn't get the oil changed yet. good thing is that canadian tires got synthetic oil on for 1/2 price lol. i wanna get it running before i change the oil.

for some reason still can't get it started. me and my dad checked everything over and can't find anything wrong. we did a compression test and its got at least 175psi. its got spark and its got fuel pressure and its getting fuel. now its probobly fludded from trying it so much. has anyone had this happen to them before and wat should i do?

Wait, you did the lower intake manifold gasket and didn't change the oil afterwards? You're probably already hozed. Change it now before you try to start it again and pump MORE coolant contaminated oil through your engine!

There'* only one way to put this...get the oil changed, or don't bother trying to get it running, because it won't be for long anyway.

What is the fuel pressure?

now sure wat the fuel pressure is. it says in the manual that its suppose to be 40psi but when i pushed the valve it sure didn't seem like 40psi. so i put a new fuel filter on it and now it shoots out from the valve thingy (can't remember wat it called).

In geek speak, it'* called a Schraeder Valve. To add to the "must change that oil" to-do list, did you, or are you going to (meaning, you oughta do it), change out your spark plugs and your O2 sensor? They are VERY sensitive to coolant and will never work right again once burning coolant is introduced.

And yes, new oil is very important. Contaminated oil is very acidic to the rod, cam, and main bearings, and as Archon said, it won't run for very long like that.

EDIT: Check ALL your electrical connections that you messed with. MAP, IAC, MAF, TPS, IAT comes to mind...I am leaning more towards MAP, BUT the computer *may* put itself in a no-start condition if *any* of those sensors are not connected. Also, the spark plugs, if they are the old ones, will also prevent it from starting. Trust me, I know.

Earlier this year I would have said that was a good enough test, however my son'* car did that and the fuel pump was still bad.enough not to start the car.
