I changed the upper intake on my 97 sse. Everything seemed to go alright, it started up and ran fine. Drove about 15 miles to get gas and when I got back it was making a high pitched sound. Can't tell where it is coming from. Checked the oil and it was over filled by maybe a quart and a half. Must not got it all out when I drain it. Also there is a real lot of suction through the oil fill hole(back presser). the high pitch sound stops if you take off the oil fill cap or pull the dip stick up.

Did you remember to reinstall the pcv valve AND it'* o-ring in the new manifold?

yes I did, does anyone know why I am getting the high suction from the oil inlet and dip stick?

Thanks you guys save me a lot of work,was going to take it all a part again, check the little black ring on the pvc and it had broken and came off. Thanks again for your help.
