Need a direct bolt on exhaust
I went with a 3" catback because I will be doing some custom ported and polished heads, L36 cam and some other stuff that I wont mention yet. And most likely a L36 nitrous kit will be developed on my car in the future. But I will ecentually be making a bolt-on catback exhaust for Bonneville'* and Grand Prix'*. But these are future projects, working on other ones right now.

But thanks for your help , maybe you can use all your resources to find one .One more thing . If i go with custom , which muffler do i go with?
Like TY said, it seems you already know what you're doing. I am running stock on mine for the moment, but will be upgrading my car as soon as spring kicks in. I was originally planning on going with Magnaflow due to the straight flow design, but have heard that Bonnies sounds too Riced with it. I can't remember the brand name of the other one I was going for ( not Flowmaster ), but is also a straight though design muffler. Sorry.. brain not functioning... its the weekend
I think the muffler you're thinking of is the Walker Turbomax. I've run two of 'em in the past, and they're a straight through design, or at least used to be. I haven't changed my muffler yet, but I did have to replace my cat. It'* an Autosound Hi-flow, and I noticed while it was being installed, that I don't have a Resonator, nor was there originally. Until my Cat, my exhaust was virgin from the factory. Drifter, what year is your Bonnie? Maybe they started using a resonator with the Series II?

They exhaust on bonneville'* are not made for performance they are made to be quiet at any expense even performance. They say it won't mateer what you do with the exhaust . But i recomend either Edelbrock or flowmaster. Dynomax is also good but edelbrock is my fav . Dynomax might just be a match made in heaven cause it'* not too loud but will release back pressure.
