Default My Trans

Could someone tell me wuts up with my 93 SE? For a while i let my sister drive the car because it was not being put to use(i was driving the 97 SE lol!) . The car was working FINE and when i say that i mean like an 05 Bonnie right off the lot and all of the sudden the trans goes out without a warning. Now i tryed putting trans helper called LOCUS but it didnt help. When we let the car cool down n get cold you can hear it whining a lil but it will go n R and D and move but when it gets how it wont say anything. Any suggestions on wut to do or does anyone know how much it wud cost 2 rebuild?

Same thing happened to me. The reverse reaction drum (Stove Pipe) broke in half. Had the trans overhauled with all the updates including the upgraded stove pipe. Find a reputable shop that knows what they are doing. Depending on the shop, you are looking from $1600.00'* to $2,300.00'*.

Will a 97 SE trans fit on an 93 SE engine?

It will bolt up but nothing electrical will connect. And i think the 97 is a 4t65 not likr the 93 4t60.

The 93 uses a 4t60e and the 97 a 4t65e

So no, they're not compatible.
