Default My MASSIVE KR issue.

...Maybe you guys can help me figure it out. Everything in my Sig is up to date, except i now have the STOCK pulley on the SC

I captured it on vid today... In the first vid i hit 20* on the shift with outside temps reading 73*F

in the second vid under the same conditions, i hit only 10* WTH is up with that i wonder.

And in a 3rd vid (yet to be uploaded) i dont get any KR untill after i let OFF the throttle, at which time i get 3*

So does anyone have any ideas?

Peter...turn the car off and park it.

Don and I both mentioned that our suggestion would be a pcm. I'll see you in 2 weeks with at least one pcm in my hand for you to try.

Are you still getting TERRIBLE gas mileage, er, kilomenometers / liter?

I remember on the trip back from NEBF, we had so stop like every 200 miles!!!! You were getting HALF of the mileage I was, and I was only getting about 22 MPG.

Or just don't drive it at WOT until you figure it out

Just curious...does the KR climb while accelerating? Or did it stay at 0 until it got to the shift, then hit 20?

You only get KR during the shift? Does it go away immediatly or take a few seconds to trail off after the shift?

Knock, Retard
Cody! don't you feel bad saying that to him?

KR or Knock retardation is the amount of degrees that the pcm retards the timing to keep from seeing more knock. This only occurs once the pcm has already seen knock.
