I am havign the same problem with my trunk release. I hear a clicking noise but no reaction from the trunk...... If i find out hwo to fix it i will let you know most likely it is the same problem i guess its common?

Not common at all. Make sure you check the function with the lid OPEN back there. That'* a critical part of the troubleshooting.

IF you hear a click under the dash, and no noise from the trunk with the lid open already, your solonoid is probably bad (buy a new one or get one from a wrecker), or the wiring in between.

as with the trunk problem. I have a 92 se and i have the same problem, my trunk release button does not work either.

I found the problem with mine, The wires going to the release in the trunk were not makeing contact or something i messed around with it for a bit then i found that if i pull the wires down a bit the release with work so i just tired them down a bit, The remote works but the release inside the car dosn'.

That is exactly my problem which wires did u haveto mess with the ones in the trunk? Is there anyway to test the wires to see if they are operating correctly i have a multimeter if you push the trunk release button what shoudl u read as an output im thinking some kind of voltage right?
