I had my hood up doing some minor work on my 94 se.. When i went into the house and came back I notice my 4 yr old cousin playing around the front of the hood. I closed the hood and after awhile i tried to open the hood back up and it won't come up. When i pull on the hood release lever, it goes up without any resistance or air pressure. what do i do?

Sounds like the cable came undone. Your going to have to try to come in from under or from the front to pop the hood. Could be a real pain. I've never had to try it, but a car is set up so you can't open the hood from outside easy.

went under the car between the radiator and the engine trying to get to the latch but it seems like I'm being blocked by the shield on top of the radiator. 94 se bonne

How did you finally get it? Also, was the cable unhooked?

i raised the car about 10'' and look for the cable. got a wire hanger made a hook and pulled on the only wire i seen
