Default My EGR and Me (lessons learned)

Wanted to thank everyone for their help on my EGR SES problem I WAS having. I finally broke down and went back to the dealer and begged for mercy and help in figuring out the problem. Seems that eventhough my EGR tested good, per several book procedures, that it was still defective. If you will remember, the NEW EGR had only been on the car for 2 weeks or so. The dealer cut me some slack and only charged a half hour labor to check and verify the trouble and the local parts store honored the warranty on the part. The second new EGR is in place the codes are cleared and none have reset after a weeks worth of driving.

Be thankful that you have an EGR.
