Default Motor to Trans Question.

Lets say hympotheticly I was to uhmm take my engine out of my 93 bonne... Could I put a 93 ssei motor in its place with all the electrics with my trans? And even more could I put a S2 SC with my Trans? this is a tranny question not if I can or not run the electrics for the engine If I can do both which is more proboble.?

you could put the engine in but the stock tranny is not going to like all that torque the supercharger dishes out, the best option would be to put the whole engine/tranny combo in from another car

Transplants have been done. Turtle has a 92, but he'* got a Series 2 motor and trans in it (from a 95)....then he added a big-*** turbo.

Get the whole drivetrain, but if you're gonna do it, you might as well do a Series 2 L67. Get the engine, trans, PCM, and wiring harness.

Okie Dokie .. The motor/trans mounts going to be the same or will I have to modify them.. The car I am looking at is a 95 ssei but its only 1/2 there someone bought the rear half of the car it made me sick to look at :( . It was totaled because of water damage and only has 58k on the engine/trans so that would be a +. This shouldnt be a very hard transplant because they are essentially the same parts correct...?
