Your car may not look exactly like that, but check all your motor and trans mounts.

I have a similar problem every time i put in gear forward or reverse my car knocks .I took a look at the front drivers side mount and noticed it was missing the bolt which i could not find anywhere .do i need a special bolt if i do what kind ,size ,etc...

You can use any bolt that'* the correct length and thread. Check the parts cars and see if you can get the right bolt.
