I have a question about spark plugs.
Since my car has cylinder #5 misfire and I've done everything such as swapping wires, coils, ignition module, spark plugs and fuel injectors and it still there and coolant level getting lower little by little (something about 1 inch in 2 months) I inclined to think it'* UIM or LIM gasket.
I have no place (street of Brooklyn) to change it on my own and I'm not going to pay about a $1000 to mechanic knowing I'm able to do it too so I've decided to band aid it.
I want to use hotter spark plug in that cylinder and the question is if anybody knows which hot spark plug I can use on my 1995 supercharged (manufacturer #)
I've read some post and articles about platinum plugs run hotter than regular.
I don't mind to change it even once a month in case it gets bad after month or so because it'* #5 plug in the front so it takes 2 min to change.
Any opinion would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Since you're supercharged you don't have the UIM problem and platinums are not recommended for SC applications either . That leaves the LIM gasket as a possiblity.
Sorry I am unable to help further.

Thanks for reply.
The point is it'* sucking coolant into cylinder little by little.
Spark plug on #5 doesn't look bad .
Just like other plugs so I think maybe a little hotter plug will eliminate some misfire at least temporary.

With autolite the higher the number the hotter the plug;
with NGK the lower the number the hotter the plug.
I won't say I recommend going hotter, but I'm no gearhead. You might wait for a suggestion from one of them.

If that cylinder is ingesting coolant, causing the misfire, it is more likely due to an improper air/fuel mix where it either can't cause it to burn at all, or just burn partially. A hotter plug is not likely to solve that problem.

That'* not the point either it'* legal or illegal to fix the car on the street.
The point is this is a major repair and doing this "on your knee " just doesn't cut.
I've done a lot of work on this car on the street. Fixed no boost, drilled out broken alternator bolt, changed burned light switch and many other diff things, but changing LIM I would definitelly like to have something like yard or garage just in case job is extended due to some unexpected circumstances.

Why would be improper air/fuel mix only in #5 cylinder considering that I changed fuel injector from perfectly working cylinder if assuming fuel injector is in fault?
Because water and coolant do not burn. It doesn't have to with whether or not the injector is working properly, if you are getting the coolant mixture into that cylinder it either will not fire, or fire poorly.
