Lightbulb Start it in neutral?

Sometimes my car won't start in park. I know my shifter is messed up because my engine dropped a few inches a while back [frame issue] O_o

So sometimes it'* not all the way in park, and the transmission won't let the car start if it'* in a drive gear, so sometimes I just have to start it in neutral. That only happens to me like once every few months, but it'* scary at first. I'm like oh please start :P

It doesn't really do it that often, and I'm not sure how bad yours was, but if it doesn't start in park it might start in neutral. But if they fixed your problem then you don't have to worry about that.

id say the problem is fixed... if its not starting in park but will in neutral its either the cabling or the neutral safety switch itself... ive replaced mine due to it wore out a year ago but after replacing it, no problems... was a easy fix and relatively cheap too

anyone game for a tech writeup on this one
