Default Master Cylinder/Brake Booster Question

On a 94 ssei, is there a gasket between the master cylinder and the brake booster. I have a small leak there and when I pulled the master cylinder off there was no gasket. Any help would be great. Thanks Dennis

No. There is no gasket there.

Your MS is leaking out the rear and needs to be replaced.

Thata what I thought, I replaced it today. It wasnt that hard of a job to do. The worst part was bleeding the MS.

Did you bleed the brakes, too? When you open the lines, you can't help but introduce some air. This will result in a soft brake pedal if the brakes aren't bled.
