low gas mileage?
Greg,
I think that sounds about right. Maybe it'* a location thing
I live in Ontario, too. I get about 540kms to a tank (if i drive nice with good gas) so that'* like 18.75 miles to the gallon when i figure it all out. The really cold weather and having to allow for warm ups dosn't help the gas gauge much
...plus, your car is getting up there in KM'*...

Greg, on my '92 SE I get about 18mpg in city driving (I deliver pizza with my car as a matter of fact). I do have a little bit of a lead foot but most of the time I try to go easy on it. Our cars really shine on the highway, 75mph while at 2k in overdrive is nice on those long trips, it gets in the high 20s.
If you are really worried about your mileage than change your air filter and oxygen sensor.

hehe...i do pizza delivery too.
obviously i'd be getting lower mileage then, but i'm talking about full tanks with no deliveries at all for a fair estimate.
oxygen sensor replaced a few months ago; air filter replaced less than a week ago.

Hey Greg, nice to see another Ontario member. I get about 500-540KM per tank and I do mostly Hwy. A lot of small things can effect gas mileage, if the plugs are old it would be a good idea to change them. Check the tire pressure, driving with the window/* down or a/c on can also make a differance. Like Tamara said sometimes higher mileage engines get a little bit more thirsty. But try going easy on the gas for a tank and see what happens...L8r...Andru.
when u fill up the tank, do you pump in the full 18 gallons...or is it 16 or 17 gallons?...use the amount it takes you to fill up as the divider instead of automatically dividing by the 18 tank. If you are only adding 16 gallons per each fill up..then thats 19.5mpg
