I have a loud, constant ticking coming from my engine bay after I shut it down, any thoughts?

what????

how does it tick....i have seen the bearing on the nose of the charger go bad, but that is rare....you might hav problems if the bearing failed and then that caused the rotors to clash...

you could get a rebuilt nosedrive

How long does it last?

I remember my evap canister made a ticking noise...kind of freaked me out until I knew what it was. I do not remember though, if it happened when the car was turned off, so I would keep guessing..

Hey Everyone.. it'* AFTER the car is shut off. Aka .. no power to accessories except air pump if he has one.

It'* heat related

I'd pop the hood at night and see if the exhaust manifolds are glowing.
