Lost 1st gear

There are a couple of reasons that the Cars computer may start you off in second gear.. But if 2nd 3rd and 4th(OD) are functional, then it may be a tranny problem... You need to know what the PCM is calling for.. and if there are any stored codes as well... There arer transmission codes that will not set off the SES light... You could have a bad ground, bad PCM, bad VSS.... The list goes on...
The TPS will affect shift quality, and shift timing, but not first gear apply... I'd say wither the trans is shot, or for some reason the PCM has defaulted to a limp home mode... Untill you have a scan( a good one, not just for codes ) you may not have any idea of whats really happening..
In your vid it looked like the trans was pulling good and hard... So before we assume failure, lets look at what we can first...
Good Luck
