Default Harmonic balancer?

Hello, I have a 94 bonneville SSEi the harmonic balancer is bad, what kind of puller do you use to remove it.does it hook into the slots or to the 1/4-28 bolt holes behind the slots? Any hints or suggestions. the 1/4 bolt holes just dont seem like they would be strong enough. Thanks

Here'* the situation

They are M6x1. 1/4-28 is close

You'll need darn near a 2 inch bolt.. and the puller shaft that threads into the center will proabably be too short. Put something in the hole that will fill it and allow the puller to center. A socket inserted 6 or 12 points first will work well. I used a 3" extention or a piece of round metal rod stock would be perfect..but good luck looking around having it on hand.

I got it off. Had to use a spacer as described in post. Looks like the compresser for the air conditioner is going to have to be replaced to. Thanks for the help!
