Looking for part numbers...
I just sent an email to the local dealership looking to see if they can help me out. I asked for both prices and part numbers so we'll see what I get. If the price isn't too much more than GMPartsDirect.com I will probably go with the dealer just for ease of getting them and "return" capabilities just in case there is a problem.

1) I need new trim pieces to go over all the doors. These are the screwed in strips up the A-pillar, across the top, and down the blindspot.

2) The drivers side base for the sun visor.

3) The clips that hold in the front passenger controls.

4) The rubber sealing molding that goes around the doors. Need it for all doors.

(sorry I didn't get on this sooner, Gordy)
I can't find the clips for the window/door controls.
The door/pillar trim and seals list will be extensive. There are tons of different part numbers, so the best thing would be for me to scan them and send the files, like I did for your door latch problem. You still need all that?

I will probably hit up a scrapyard for those little door control clips.
As for the door trim, even if I can get one door figured out it will at least help me plan for the rest. If it is gonna cost me $300 a door to fix I will just live with what I have for now.
The door latch? I sorta got that figured out. I took it all apart but it is still messed up a little bit. I was thinking about letting it go for now and deal with it if/when I install shaved door handels and poppers.
But I might already have the scans from the book for the door pages that you're talking about (pages 781 - 798 from the book)? If those are it, I just need a little "guidence" to the right description for the parts. I couldn't find anything that looked like what I needed.
Different interior colors had different colored retainers, but it only lists one. You may have to paint it, but it'* not very visible.
I fixed mine with JB weld. Both sides. Driver'* side I had to build material up, cuz the piece was missing, passenger side, I glued the broken piece back on. Just wrap plumber'* teflon tape around the end of the pivot shaft to use as a 'mold'.

I got a response back from the dealership. Looks real promising. Here is the meat of what they sent.
I think I will probably go thru the dealer with most of this. I will need to run the 4 - 25659297 W/STRIP 82.18 thru gmpartsdirect to see what the final cost is (says GM LIST: $96.68, OUR PRICE: $57.04). Takeing thur and fri off work so I will stop by the dealer then and see what I can get / order.

WOW! I just went to the dealer to get all the parts for the weather stripping and the visor. The guy there that helped me (parts manager?) really strived to make sure I got the right parts. So the parts are ordered and should be here within a few days.
Now for the surprise. When I initially contacted them thru email I had links to some pics of what I was looking for. Apparently he noticed the links because they linked to mnbonnevilleclub.com. As he was ringing things up he says something along the lines of "here is what they parts cost, and here is your cost (cheaper) for being part of the Bonneville Club." I was like SWEEEEEEEEET! The discount was just over $100 (about %15). Well, that just made my day. :P

Way cool.....welcome to the discount club
That works very well when you're dealing with vendors. It always pays to call and ask questions on the phone just in case they're willing to do that. Always remember to mention your club affiliation. I've had vendors log on while I was talking to them on the phone (I can see them do it from the admin panel....by ip address).
When they see our membership numbers, they get all drooly!
