In your other post you mentioned that you were in Wisconsin. Wher about in WI are you? If you are not too far from Waukesha I could maybe take a look when it warms up some.

Regarding your battery and alternator - if the car has been sitting for months at a time, the battery will go dead unless you keep at least one of the battery terminals disconnected. If you jump the car to get it started, but only run it for a few minutes because the engine bearings are bad - the battery will not fully charge, not even with a new alternator. A dead battery needs to be slowly charged with a battery charger overnight. Also, if you leave your battery dead and the temperature outside goes below freezing, your battery will freeze and damage the plates - which will cause it to go dead quickly or not fully charge again.

this car has 122,000k on the clock-it makes a very loud rattling and clunking and it will kill if you dont keep revving it and if it sits for more than 2 days it will be totally dead like so dead the interior lights wont come on

i replaced the alternator because i was told that might be the problem but then i was told the engine was shot-the supercharger was also replaced about 8 years ago and never had a problem with it since

i was told that the lower bearings were bad and from what the mechanic told me the engine was shot and he said he wouldnt even drive it anymore because it may throw a rod at anytime-as i said before it will kill if not constantly revved but when revved the engine almost seems like its heaving or it going to fall out or something

When your lower bearings go, your best bet is to replace the engine with a used junk yard engine. Check car-parts.com for prices in your area. Should cost about $400. Sometimes less if you will use your supercharger. The engine swap should take a shop less than 10 hours of labor, I'm guessing about $400 for labor.

Your alternator and battery are probably fine like I explained earlier, just bring the battery inside and put a charger on it for a day. A completely dead battery needs a long slow charge.

My lower bearings went because of a leaking intake manifold gasket, letting coolant get into the oil. Swapped the engine, and all is well again.
