AC Delco and GM Parts direct both say that the GM # I have isn't for the application. The Fel-Pro is the one at RockAuto.

I was thinking of picking up a new set of 89017816 , but that part # provided isnt' the one recommended for my application. Are the 89017816 the metal end ones?

EDIT: i just did a quick search and found that 89017816 is the one for 97-up...is that the metal one that I want?

Does the fel-pro version of the 97 and up gasket set have the preferable aluminum frames?

The 95s and older didn't have Dexcool to begin with. Dexcool started in the H-bodies in 1996.
