it might not be glowing...

basically the cat is a honeycomb filter... it falls apart and clogs itself...

mine actually got so plugged and hot it blew a hole in the side...

my 90 rattles. I don't think its plugged though. It gets good mileage.

sometime instead of clogging itself, it blows chunks out of the cat out the exhaust... then basically you have a SUPER HIGH performance cat...nothing in there... the rattle in there might be stuff that hasnt come out yet

I did a real test yesterday on my mileage and i get about 20mpg average between highway and city. I guess thats normal but im still stuck on the performance issues of my car.
