My car is leaking cooliant. My buddy looked at it and said it was leaking because there was too much inside and it was also hot. But there is no more coolaint inside the cooliant compartment. Does anybody know what should I do? My temperature gauge show my engine being at a normal temp.

Alright ironBear, The coolant recovery tank is empty? Can you visually see any external coolant leaks if you make a real close inspection of the engine? What trim level is your Bonneville? Is it n/a or supercharged? Hate to answer questions with more questions, but we need a basis to begin diagnosing the problem here. You follow what I'm saying? Okay, just noticed 93 SSEi, sorry. Still need more info.

There I one thing that I want you to check right off the bat....
There is a Coolant bypass fitting and hose in the intake on the drivebelt end of the engine... Check both and make sure they are not leaking...
as well do you have a general idea of where the leak looks to be coming from?
