I started my car up to go out to dinner when I noticed the warning tone and on the electronic schematic a "Lamp Monitor" light came on, and under it appeared "Park Lamp".

WTF?! I got out and checked all my lights, all looked good. No trouble all night, but I did notice it went off after driving for a little while. Well after I had an hour long dinner in town I got back in my car and it came right back on. Drove for another 10 minutes and it went off. So far 3 times today, and everytime it turned off after 10-20 minutes of driving.

Could this have something do with my recently installed Matrix Xenon Bulbs?

I could have something to do with the bulbs. I do know mine will come on right away after starting for a minute or so but not very often. But if is staying on for 10+ minutes it is most likely the new bulbs. So did this just start when these were installed then?

Lets see, I believed I installed the bulbs Thursday at 1am (I was BORED) and really didn't need to use them till Friday night. The warning came on today around 5:30pm on a Saturday.

I tried to put in those orange LED light in my turn signal (to finish off the clear corner lens effect) and instantly me cars lighting system rejected it. If the new bulbs draw more or less power than the stock reuirments it will set off the display. In my case it was way off and actually caused turn signal and interior light problems.

What you could try is to replace the old bulbs (if you still have them) and see if it goes away.

You know I bet your right. Alternator takes time to charge up to give them enough power is my theory.

Because it ALWAYS goes away after awhile.

I don't think its that big of a deal then. But I might try swaping to the old ones if I find time tomarrow.

With a little creativity, and a resistor, you can trick 'em. You need to get the current draw correct. LED taillights can be done the same way.

i have installed plasma hi/low beam bulbs in my Bonnie.....no problems with moniter :P on hi beam .wow lites the whole country side up.. low beam is a bright as some high beams i`ve seen

My Xenons have more wattage than stock lights in Bonnies. I'm pretty sure this is the cause of the warning light. I can live with it, but will...whats this whole thing with a resistor?

The theory is that if you add the right resistance with the light it will fake out the system to think it is the right draw going thru the circut, hence no light warnings. i am unsure what the actuall ohms and voltage that it monitors are but will might be able to help you out more when he'* back on.
