Default Knock from steering left and right

When the car is not moving but I turn the steering wheel from left to right there is a knock that can be easily heard. I have not looked into this yet since I figure I will see what others have found with the same noise.

I did some searches and the only thing I found that seemed similiar was upper strut bearing noise that was quieted with adding grease. I could not quite understand where exactly the grease was being added to stop the noise. Also what means was used to insert the grease?

Yeah, I was going to say your upper strut bearings are probably bad. I had the same noise forever with my Bonneville and was told that was the problem. Not sure about adding grease, that'* probably just a temporary solution to get rid of the noise...
