Ok this is bugging the crap out of me.When im driving in overdrive and im cruisin at 55 at 1500 RPM, when I hit the gas the rpms will go up a tiny bit and just go back down, the car will still eccelerate just VERY slowly.

Knock Retard Or KR is something the PCM will do to protect the engine. It will pull timing. So under WOT you my have 15* of timing and the PCM thinks the engine could be damaged to it my pull 3* from that giving you 12* Under normal driving you should not see any KR.

i don't think it should accelerate that slowly...

Oh its SLOW, i got the granny gears which is quite the disappointment, i have NO acceleration in overdrive i have to downshift into 3rd in order for me to go anywhere.

If it'* not shifting then it'* going to be slow. Even mine is doggy until it drops a gear or two.

It shouldn't be that doggy. When was your last tune up etc?

Even third gear is doggy, ive had the car for three years and it was given a tune up right after i bought it, i keep up with all fluid changes and any other keep up. Ive also cleaned the MAF sensor and most of the throttle body. Dont get me wrong it runs very good its just very sluggish pretty much all the time.

Do you know of anyone near you that can scan the car?

My buddy has a scanner and there has never been any codes or any ses lights ever come on since ive had it.
