Hi all, I just picked up a 95 SE. God I love this car. I was in the market for a daily driver when I came across the 95 SE. It has 91K on it. An old lady traded it in on a new Grand Marquee. It'* in mint condition.

My question is, how do you tell if your car is equipped with remote entry? The dealer said she just gave them the keys. I looked in the owner’* manual and all I could find was the location of the trunk release. It is supposed to be located under the arm rest of the driver’* door. Well I found the spot and it has a rubber plug in it from the factory. So I checked the trunk lock. It has a green and white set of wires running to the back of the lock. Does that mean I have the remote entry option? Can I get some FOBS and sync them to the car? That sure would be nice.

You might try looking at your car'* build list. It seems that the factory places the lists in the trunk lid, on the passenger side, towards the front, where there is a hollow between the carpet and the outer metal. Keyless entry should be listed if your car has the option.

Thanks for the reply. I just check out the trunk. No luck finding the build list. I just can't see the factory running some wires to the trunk lock if the car doesn't have remote entry. Anybody else have a suggestion?

IIRC, the wireless receiver is located near the relay block in front of the glovebox.

Just go to a GM dealer with your VIN! They'll let know ALL the RPO'* for your car!
