NOW I don't feel so bad! I got dicked for $76.00 at my 'used to be favorite' Action Auto Parts store.
K&N #33-2086 for my '92 SSE.

I went up the street after that feeling like I should smoke a cigarette after sex or something...
The "SCHUCK'*, it doesn't fit" store told me I would use a #33-2057 for about $50.00.
I have no idea what that part # is supposed to be or fit, so I kind of sucked it up and figured I'd better double check here again for the correct #.

I also paid #3.00 more for the K&N oil filter #1001 at Action vs. Shuck'*.
I think that IS the correct oil filter.
I gotta shop more carefully or else not get my tail in a knot.

Who'* got confirmation on those weird-*** part #'* at Shuck'*?

What are the dimensions of the cone filters supplied with the ADTR intake or DPs(DeathRat, what size will you supply)?
My custom intake cost around 100.00, 50 for the filter, 30 for custom 3 1/2in mandrel bent pipe which I sent to Performance Coatings(performancecoatings.com)to get a Cermachrome™ finish, that cost twenty some dollars and looks good.

I complained a little ( WHINED? Never! ) about the exhorbitant price and ended up horse trading, sort of, for some double sided trim tape and black door edge guards!
I still paid about $10.00 too much, but, I felt good enough to take the filter and run, you know? I GOT ONE.

I can't complain about my custom intake because it only cost me $1.60. I already had a 14" K&N from my Mustang that wasn't being used so I bought a 3" exhaust flow tube for $1.60 and connected 1 end to the filter and the other to the stock rubber piece from the throttle body. With the airbox removed it comes right up to the back of the headlight. Perfect fit.
