Default Just won't go! Also need code description

I have a 94 not supercharged. I hope I can describe well enough what is happening. It'* chugging when i step on the gas more than just a little...it has no power to go uphill...it doesn't want to kick down, and when it does still no power, and the tack goes way up to 4+, it is also sucking gas like there'* no tomorrow. I'm talking I drove 120 miles today on a full tank, and used 3/4 of the tank!! Unacceptable! I can't afford to drive this car. Do you know what gas prices are in CA?? lol Anyway, the ses light is Not coming on. Right before this started happening I had the egr valve replaced. Because of no trouble light it'* not pulling a code, although a couple of weeks ago when it was checked it pulled up a code. I don't know if that was an old code or what, especially since I don't know what the code is for anyway. So can someone please tell me what P0705 is for, and any other advice you can give me will be greatly appreciated. I'm going to have to rent a car as I feel very unsafe in this one now. Thanks

I'd think it would be the O2 sensor
