My set of coils which were ordered on June1, got delivered today from Jeg'*. Hopefully they got a truck load from MSD.

I posted this delay a while ago when they first had the delay. At the time they didn’t even bother to find out when they would arrive. Jegs usually delivers right away but their follow up on back orders is somewhat lame. Always call MSD and ask. If Jegs is out I can usually find them for you but it will cost about $10.00 more per coil.

Default accell

Well i got my accel coils from Jeg'* in 3 days, i also went and bought 8.8 wires at canadian tire, what a difference, acceleration is really good, at high rpm as well, i am satisfied with the accel products, i have used em for years, i also like msd, but just always stuck with what i know. anyhow i hope you get your stuff soon.

Accel are easier to get and the demand is less so it is an easier choice. I have heard a mixed review on the accel. The difficult part is the mixed review came from a supplier of mine who has more to gain from selling Accel. I haven’t personally used them and I don’t know how one would go about "testing" the difference.

Anyone else use Accel?

Default MSD COILS

Just got done putting the MSD coils in that I got from JEGS yesterday. I put them in the 94 SSEi, and it ran like a "bucket of worms" didn't start as quick, the idle was very erratic, and rough. Took for a test drive and if I didn't know better I would of said that I had a plug wire switched, checked twice, just to make sure. It seemed like it took fore ever for the rpm to come up and very un-responsive. Going down the road at a 50 mph coast, on level road it felt like the torque converter was having issue. All I could think of was the computer was trying, or in the process of re-programming. I put about 25 miles of varied driving conditions, and nothing changed, it almost seemed that it got worse! I went back and put the old coils in, and the instant I hit the key, ALL problems and mentioned symptoms were gone!
Any ideas, suggestions?
