Default Invisible HUD

At night I can see it fine, but during the day I can barely make out the numbers even when I crank it up. At night the brightness is just like I remembered it when it DID work properly. I rememeber someone saying something a long time ago about checking proper connection, eh???
Where is it located? What color? How?

Anyone solve this problem before?

There'* a white wire from the HUD switch to the HUD, check it out. If it checks out fine, Check the rheostat inside the HUD switch for an open...

Pull out the switch, turn the car on, and check the voltage on the white wire, It ought. to be nice and smooth from battery to 0.

I don't see any connection with the only at night part unless the brown wire from your headlight switch is shorted to power... Maybe try checking fuse 21...

I think it'* fairly normal in the bright sunny days this time of the year when the sun is high to barely see the HUD. Mine has always been like that since new. It'* even worse if you are wearing shades.

No problem a night or on cloudy days.

No, this is bad. It used to be much brighter during the daytime.

I know this is a simple question but do you set your headlights to auto on or manual?

Does your HUD dim when you turn on the headlights or not?
