Update:

Car goes in Monday morning. So for a week I will be driving my parents' 96 Oldmobile 88 with a 3800 Series II. Shes got more miles than my Bonnie but still has some killer pickup. Who wants to take me on!!!! LOL, j/k
Last thing I need to think about is going over 60mph and getting a ticket, then insurance will probably be dropped.

I get my Bonnie back tomarrow!

No hood protector for many many moons due to repainted hood, and blackouts are on there way in backorder. But otherwise she should be just like I remembered!

I'm getting very sick of driving my father'* Old 88...rides like a dream, but is oh so dull.

My rims are used and came with Cougar tires, so its a cheap form of lowering it a good inch or so. I bought them off a guy I know in Carpentersville (near Chicago) who had them on one tricked out Dodge Avenger.

He helped me put them on and everything, we even painted my calipers and drums with red high heat paint. I did have them aligned just to be safe because it drifted a little to the right. And I just had them balanced with tap-on weights after my recent accident. So now it drives like butta down the road!

Try to find someone you know who is selling used rims to start off, shops tend to get annal on their prices (unless you find a nice set that'* on sale). Last time I checked Tires Plus in my area was selling 16" American Racing "Avenger" rims for $80-$90 a piece, except they were pollish rims and pollish rims are harder to take care of than chrome.
