How many of the accessories are interchangeable between the Series 2 engines? Will all the A/C crap from a L36 swap directly onto a L67? What about all the other junk? Power steering, brakes, alternator, etc...

I dunno about the brakes, but as far as I know everything can swap to either or motor. There will be different brackets on the L36 compared to the L67.

The brakes are not engine specific. You just need a vacuum source to connect to the boster.

Is the wiring engine specific or do they just tape off the unneeded wriing where it'* not used?

I don't have any first hand knowledge of the SII bit there were several differences in the engine wire harnesses between my 93 L67 and 93 L27. Not only were some of the wires omitted in the L27 harness, the injector wires were all scrambled up in different pin locations. I'm speaking of the removable harness at the firewall. Since the PCM is under the hood with most SII vehicles, this might not be the case.

Hmmm so you can probably work with just changing from the firewall to the motor instead of having to worry about both the inside and outside.
