Fantastic!! Thanks Archon!! Also, how can i change the by pass hose with the intake still on?? I know it would be a PITA but if it can be done, then hey! lol I just really dont want to take all that stuff off again you know?

The same AC part number comes up from 1996 - 2000, but is different in '95 and '01
This implies that you can use an FPR from a non-supercharged from 96-00.
I would not think there would be any difference among Bonneville, 88 Olds, LeSabre, for that matter as long as it is a VIN K engine (L36 RPO code) but you could check the part number as I did to make sure.

ok bill thanks. Why does it say that the sse is a supercharged motor on the site? i've actually ran into that problem a few times, and i've had to physically go out and show the parts people that its an sse not supercharged :(

lol, changed that fpr and shazzam (who really says that now?) Anyways, yea like my last response, I have some good news and bad news. Good news, car starts right up no problems runs drives awesome. bad news, car is throwing two different codes. P1406 and p0108. The guys at autozone said p0108 was a bad manifold absolute pressure sensor or barometric pressure sensor input. the receipt says "Pressure is higher than expected for the current engine operating temperature. the other code (P1406) is a bad Egr valve or an open or short circuit. Soo yea, if you guys have any input that would be great!! Just to let you know the car was kinda running funny, kinda like it was misfiring. I would give it gas and it would kinda hesitate a little bit. Thanks for all the help guys EDIT:: One more thing i forgot to add, the traction control light was coming on as well. It would come on, then go off, then come back on. Not like flashing, but you could tell the idle changed when it came on as well. Hope this may help narrow it down a little bit

Check for vacuum leaks including the o-rings in the pcv chamber.
Check for cracks in the metal corrugated EGR pipe from the valve to the LIM

I agree with Bill. Check those areas, as well as for any other vacuum leaks. Your traction control issue is probably a wheel speed sensor, or related wiring. Try disconnecting and reconnecting each sensor a few times, and see if that helps. If not, you may want to start new threads on your current issues.

ok guys, i drove the car around today for a good 20 minutes or so, let it get pretty warm. When i came out to drive it this morning, the check engine and traction lights were both off! They havent came back on at all. But, I still dont think the car is running right. The idle is good, it moves off pretty well, but you feel a hesitation at low idle if you give it gas. I'm thinking a bad injector? Correct me if i'm wrong, but wouldnt that throw a check engine light or code?
