Default Inside drivers door window/locks blub....

You know that little bulb that is inside the drivers door that lights up the locks and the buttons for the windows.... how do you get the little plastic piece off inorder to replace the bulb?

At least I'm suspecting there is a bulb in there... it'* never been lit since I've got the car, but I notice the passangers is lit. You know, it shines down on the buttons.

I've tried to "pop" off the plastic piece, but it doesn't seem to wanna give. Also, anyone know the blub # for replacing it.

Thanks

This may be what you're looking for, but it won't help with the bulb. I don't know what it is for sure, but I'm betting it'* an LED. Check the voltage when you get in there and tell us what it is. We may be able to find a substitute even if the dealer can't get you a replacement.

I believe it'* LED.. cause we changed Muffin'* 95 lights to green from the rediish orange.. PM her to confirm

P.*..
you have to get the LED that has a built in resistor to lower it to a safe voltage or you'll burn the LED out as it'* 12 volt line

Or buy a 12v LED, but I'd still put a 1k resistor in series.
